Yes, that's right GLASGOW! We've been delighted with our Christmas present to each other of a Lay-Z-Spa. We couldn't wait to set it up and found it remarkably quick and easy to do. Our only problem might be finding good weather in this part of the country but that won't stop us! The Lay-Z-Spa has definately been the best present we've ever had!

Approx 2 hours (depending on water pressure).

Approx 10 hours
If turned off at night time, how much will the temperature drop?
From our tests about one degree per 4 hours (based on September outside temperatures).

Is 40 degrees the maximum temperature you can set it to?
Yes, you would not want it any hotter than this.

We recommend they are changed fortnightly, however after a good clean they will last up to a month.
How long will my Lay Z Spa last?
If looked after, your Lay Z Spa should last for years

Yes, spare parts will be available soon
How long does it take to inflate?
The filter unit doubles as a pump and you can inflate all 5 sections of your spa in around 10 minutes.
How easy is it to clean? Are there any specific cleaners you need to use?
A soft damp sponge will clean general dirt. Once emptied, warm soapy water will remove any other deposits.
Does it have a protective base to ensure that it does not pierce and damage the exterior of the spa?
The whole hot tub is protected with a tough outer shell which will stop most objects from piercing the unit.
How long can the water actually stay within the spa?
We recommend changing the water every 2 months.
Is the plastic durable enough to withstand a lot of pressure? i.e. Being sat on the side of the product etc.
Yes
What if I get a puncture?
An easy to use repair kit is included in the unlikely event of getting a puncture.
How many people will it hold?
Up to 4 adults.
Can I use the spa indoors?
You can use it indoors but we do not recommend this due to the moisture from the hot water.
Is it safe for young children to use?
Yes, however we do not recommend they are used by babies under 6 months old. All children should be supervised by an adult and the water temperature should be monitored by an adult for younger children.
Is it robust enough for the kids jumping in and out?
The spa will withstand general use and light climbing in and out of it
How often do I have to use the chemicals?
This would depend mainly on the amount of use, but on average once every 10 days after use of the spa.
My children have sensitive skin, can it be used without the chemicals or will the chemicals affect the children?
You can use the spa without chemicals but you would need to change the water more regularly. You would have to check with your doctor to see if the chemicals would effect them.
Please note however the chemicals are very similar to those used in public swimming pools.
How powerful are the jets?
The jets are powerful enough to create a nice sensation in the tub but not powerful enough to hurt you.
How do I store the Lay-Z-Spa?
Empty the water, dry, deflate then pack away in the original box (make sure it is dry though as you do not want a mouldy tub when you unpack it again).
Can I buy filters on the high street?
You may be able to but if you can't then we can supply them.
What are the internal measurements of the Lay-Z-Spa?
Approx. Diameter 1450mm Height 550mm
